My name is Mr. Fosco and I will be your child's physical education teacher for the Adventure Education Unit. I’m in my 13th year as part of the Chute Family. I truly love my job and even more for being at Chute. I graduated from Dominican University with a degree in history, then North Park University with my endorsement in Physical Education. I recently completed my masters in school counseling from Northeastern Illinois University. I come from a family of educators with my parents, godmother, and cousin all in the profession, having two with extensive adventure education backgrounds.
My philosophy of Physical Education is a combination of traditional methods and experimental methods. I strive to impact the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. In addition to a healthy lifestyle, in my adventure education unit I stress two important values; facing challenges and appreciation for the outdoors. I require each child to use our five finger contract of safety, responsibility, respect, commitment, and fun to work together to achieve success.
My goal is to make sure each and every one of your children have an amazing experience in physical education during their time at Chute. The physical, social, and emotional life-skills learned in physical education are essential for their lifelong success in the classroom and life.
I update my grades on weekly to bi-weekly basis. You can access their grades at any time on their SISK12 account. If you have any questions, concerns, or just want to drop an email to say hello my contact information is provided below.
